Since I started practicing hypnosis I have helped

The single Stop Smoking hypnotic suggestion
session takes 1 hour, and has a

The successful single session is broken into two parts.
1) The first part is where we address
any limiting beliefs that are in
your way to achieving your stop-smoking goal.
2) The second part is where you are
hypnotized and given powerful,
proven effective stop-smoking suggestions that take
root in your sub-conscious mind, permanently and easily turning you
into a non-smoker for life.
The session
overview is as follows:
1) Overcoming Limiting Beliefs about
smoking.
This part of the session is designed to get whatever is stopping
you from being a non-smoker right now out of the way. Whatever
beliefs, fears or limited thinking that is holding you back at the
moment get resolved during this insightful and enjoyable chat.
The hypnosis demo and chat is actually fun and
easy to follow, leaving you feeling
empowered, ready and sure that you are able now to
become a non-smoker for life.
After this chat the hypnosis part is really just a formality,
solidifying your new belief that you can now be happily smoke free
forever.
What's covered in this part of the session include:
- Explanation of why hypnosis

It is often a hypnotist's track record with stop smoking that is
the measure of their success. In the early years working with
smokers I was intrigued why some people quit so effortlessly using
suggestion hypno-therapy and quite frankly why others just didn't. I
knew the process worked and was determined to find out why it didn't
seem to with some of my clients. So I set about finding out
what makes this work , and how to improve
its effectiveness.
Over the past few years I have tirelessly studied with the
best in the world in smoking cessation (some who
are analysts and explain the effectiveness of this treatment from
the perspective of psychological triggers, motivation and
conditioning; others whose sole business is ‘stop smoking' and
understand the importance of emotion in changing ingrained habits,
and all other theories in between) and have taken the time to hone
my skill as one of Ireland's top stop smoking

Hypnotic Method - The Rob Kelly technique"
The Stop-Smoking method I employ in my clinic is based on the
proven, research verified, program as designed and
taught by Mr. Rob Kelly (Clinical director of the International
Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts I.A.P.H http://www.successfulhypnotherapy.co.uk/)
This method has a client reported track record of helping smokers
stop smoking easily in a single 1 hour session of 95% -
higher than any other form of smoking cessation
intervention such as gum / patches, medication, standard suggestion
hypnosis, NLP, self help books etc
The organisation has hundreds of practitioners world wide (of
which I am a member) and specialises in a form of therapy that is
very effective at resolving the root cause of an emotional problem.
As a result of thousands of clinic hours working deeply with a
person's sub-conscious emotions, feelings, drives, habits and
thinking styles, Rob and his fellow hypnotherapists are in the
unique position of thoroughly understanding the underlying
drives and reasons for a person's behavior.
With this insight and knowledge
of

Stopping smoking has a good success rate with standard suggestion
hypnotherapy. This is where you go to an ordinary hypnotherapist,
and they would induce trance or hypnosis and then give you a number
of stop-smoking suggestions. If those stop smoking suggestions were
accepted subconsciously i.e. took root in your mind the session
would have helped you quit.
What allows IAPH members achieve even better
success rates than this is that not only do you get the
benefit of suggestion hypnotherapy for stop smoking, you also go
through a process of changing how you view and think about
smoking first, before the hypnotic stop-smoking suggestions
are administered.
Changing your understanding of the smoking habit before you are
hypnotized to accept the suggestion that you 'are now a non-smoker

In other words the talk before the hypnosis part relieves and

belief you have at the beginning that quitting is difficult, or that
it's a chemical addiction, or that you can't be hypnotised.
You are therefore ready to wholeheartedly and with your entire

With this method of helping you to quit you will not have
the side effects commonly experienced by smokers who try to
quit before. You will not be irritable, put on weight, be drowsy,
anxious etc. Because you will be properly motivated and
committed to stopping, and you will have come to realize

This treatment removes the Need AND the Desire To
Smoke. You won't need nicotine gum or patches. No inhalers

utilising the results of more than 600 studies totalling
nearly 72,000 people.
The results, clearly showed that
hypnosis, was many times more effective than NRT (Nicotine
Replacement Therapy) or any other form of intervention.

Successful
Smoking Cessation - Questions and Answers:
Q. Will I be 'under', or 'out of control'
during the session? A. No. Contrary to popular opinion
hypnotists cannot make you do anything against your will or moral
code. You are always in control and always decide the level of
trance you go into during the session. This stop smoking method
works in very light trance, and also in deep trance, and everything
in between!
You will likely feel relaxed (although this is not necessary for
success); you will be focused inward and engaging with the stop
smoking suggestions. You will feel much like you would do when
interested in a TV program or football match.
You will NOT feel hypnotized - there is no such
thing as a hypnotised feeling.
That you can be hypnotised and are able to accept a suggestion
that results in an immediate change will be demonstrated to you
during the stop-smoking session.
You will BE hypnotised, and you will be able to
accept the change to becoming a non-smoker by the time we get to the
hypnosis part of the session.
Q. Do you offer any sort of 'Guarantees', or back up
sessions if it doesn't work'? A. Yes, I guarantee that I
will do everything within my power to ensure that you understand,
follow and agree with the program every step of the way. I guarantee
that you will get 100% from me, which includes years of experience
working with smokers who quit successfully.
This is what I'm responsible for and what you are paying me
for.
I can not guarantee how much you put into the session, whether
you really do want to stop smoking for yourself or whether you are
ready to become a non-smoker for life. Only you can give that
guarantee, and only you can make that decision in the privacy of
your own mind.
Three things make for success - the
first 2 I can guarantee the third one is up to you:
1) the method - which is clinically proven and
established and has stopped thousands of people in the UK and

Q. How much does the stop-smoking session cost and how
can I pay? A. The single smoking
cessation session will require an investment of 250
Euro. I recommend that you pay in cash,
although I also accept cheques.
The price reflects the amount of time, study, experience,
practice and effort I have put into becoming a professional,
successful and competent stop-smoking hypnotherapist.
It is also significant enough amount of money that only those who
really want to quit for life would consider paying in order to
achieve their stop smoking aim.
I have a busy practice, and enjoy a 95% success rate with this
method. That in part is because the cost of the session deters those
who are 'trying', 'hoping', 'wishing', 'giving something a chance'
to work.
It attracts those who have made a firm decision to quit and are
prepared to do what's necessary of them to stop smoking, including
spending their hard earned cash on achieving their goal.
Q. Why is your success rate SO MUCH HIGHER than most
other therapists? A. A number of reasons really:
- I have been helping people to stop smoking for over several
years, spending 1 year specialising in stop smoking.
- I understand the requirement to change your beliefs around
smoking and not just give you stop smoking suggestions. Unless you
understand how and why you have become a non-smoker you are
unlikely to remain one.
You change your perspective completely
during the session to one of a non-smoker and therefore get far
better results.
- Most importantly of all...... I don't approach stopping
smoking from the same view point as 'normal' hypnotherapists.. I
understand what's behind the desire to smoke and therefore am
better able to help you become a non-smoker.
Q. What happens if I stop smoking, but start again in six
months time? A. Non-smokers don't EVER
smoke, they don't EVER have a life experience that would
result in them smoking and they don't EVER need a cigarette.
The question assumes you will be an ex-smoker, who much like an
ex-convict is likely to reoffend at some time. You don't become an
ex-smoker, with this method you become a non-smoker, so the question
of you smoking again does not arise.
Q. Is every smoker suitable for this treatment? A.
Yes, unless they have a history of
psychoses.
Q. Will I need gum, patches, placebos, zyban or anything
else to help me? A. No. Nothing.
Q. I have been to another hypnotherapist before and it
didn't work - would it still be worth it coming to see you? A.
Yes, the technique I use is TOTALLY different to most other
therapists. It is the Rob Kelly method. A stop smoking program that
is tried and tested for years, already having helped thousands quit
for life.
I studied many methods and approaches before settling on this one
so I know the kind of therapy / methods used by other hypnotists.
This is far better and consistently effective.
Q. Why is it better to pay cash for the smoking cessation
session? A. Part of the reason you will stop when you
come and see me, is because you will have a tangible reason
to stop. A lot of emphasis is placed upon what is tangible
and not tangible. A cheque, or a credit card slip, is not tangible,
and might affect your commitment. Cash is tangible, it is real...
this helps to focus your attention.
Q. Do I need to put in any effort? A. Yes you
do. You need to engage with the conversation, think about
what I'm saying, pay attention to the process. You need to be there
of your own accord. I do not have a magic wand, I cannot control you
and you cannot passively get effective change. To change you have to
decide to become a non-smoker and allow yourself to think
differently about smoking. It's easy and enjoyable, and requires
your involvement.
Think about it - would you really be happy if someone could
change your smoking habit without your permission and commitment?
That would be disempowering and frightening. So yes, I can not help
you without your involvement.
I can help you become a permanent non-smoker for life, but only
with your buy in.
A couple of things to ponder:
- Why is smoking so dangerous? Within each
cigarette can be found a cocktail of 4000 chemicals. Some of the
headline chemicals are:
- Ammonia – found in toilet cleaners
- Acetone – found in nail varnish remover
- Cadmium – a highly poisonous metal used in batteries
- Vinyl Chloride – used to make PVC
- Napthtalene – found in moth balls
- Carbon Monoxide – a poisonous gas
- Tar – a sticky chemical (what cigarettes mostly deposits in
lungs)
- Nicotine – believed to be a fast-acting and addictive drug.
- Cyanide – a poisonous gas.
- Formaldehyde – a preservative
- Arsenic – poison.
